Biax Fiber-Film's name originated with our unique stretching machine. It is derived from biaxially stretching films and fabrics. These machines will stretch either cross direction (CD) or machine direction (MD). The interest in these machines has soared to an all time high because of their ability to stretch films to make them "breathable" and also to increase the softness and draping. We've been stretching fabrics and film for over 25 years. Production CD and MD machines are offered in 1 meter and larger. Pilot CD and MD machines are also available.
